Assembled Corrugated Pipes in Various Shapes

An assembled corrugated pipe is composed of arc corrugated steel plates that are bolted together to form the required shape. It is generally used when the maximum sizes of integral corrugated pipes or spiral corrugated pipes is exceeded or where the height of cover material is so great that traditional corrugated pipes cannot meet the construction requirements.

  • Material: Quality steel such as Q235A, Q253B or S400, etc.
  • Thickness: From 0.22" to 0.38".
  • Corrugation size: 2-2/3" × 1/2", 3" × 1", 5" × 1", 6" × 2"
  • Spans: 5’ to 40’.
  • Anti-corrosion treatment: Galvanized.
  • Zinc coating thickness: ≥ 84um.

These corrugated plates can be curved to various radii; meanwhile, these plates can be assembled into various shapes as shown in the following pictures:

  • 5’ to 40’ in span.
  • Most commonly used shape for buried structures such as culverts, drains, sewers, tunnels, etc.
  • Ideal for supporting medium and deep fill heights.
  • Additional earth filling along the pipe bottom is available to form a smooth stream bed.

  • S × H: 4’-8" × 5’-2" to 25’ × 27’-8".
  • Commonly used shape for culverts, sewers, railroad, tunnels, pedestrian underpass, etc.
  • Ideal for supporting greater height of covering.
  • The pipe bottom can be filled with earth for creating a smooth underpass.

  • S × H: 7’-4" × 5’-6" to 14’-11" × 11’-12".
  • Allow for the lowest installation cost as concrete footings is not needed for during installation.
  • Provide excellent vehicle, pedestrian or wildlife underpasses, culverts and tunnels, etc.
  • Stream bed materials can be filled along the pipe.

  • Cover plate radii: 18" or 31"
  • Ideal for culvert and small bridges where headroom is limited.
  • Providing excellent hydraulic advantages at low flows.
  • The cover height depends on the soil bearing.

  • S × H: 5’-8" × 5’-9" to 20’-4" × 17’-9".
  • Designed to be used where better vertical clearance and flat bottom are needed, such as underpass for pedestrians, auto, truck, livestock, railroad, golf cart and vehicles, etc.
  • Requiring a good soil bearing capacity in the corner region.

  • Ideal for projects with high cover and where additional hydraulic capacity is required.
